About Sil
Sil Azevedo is an educator, photographer and filmmaker. His work has been featured in local and national publications, as well as collective and solo exhibits. He created the photography program at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, was the founder and director of the Dallas School of Photography and taught photography and film at Fort Worth Country Day. Sil is a Visual Arts AP reader and has juried numerous art competitions and exhibits.
Sil loves to travel and explore, learn about new cultures and capture them on film. He is the creative director at Films,Stills+Co is currently producing a documentary film about World Peace in collaboration with local and international organizations.
My Approach
Authenticity and connection are my key words. I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories and connecting. Who knows, maybe we can create something together.
Passion
I love local bookstores, coffee shops and arthouse theaters. Eternally curious, I am always learning.
