NYC
I love street photography. While portraiture, landscapes, still lifes, and even abstraction are artistic territories shared with painting, the capture of a fleeting, unrepeatable moment is something only photography can claim. At its heart, photography is the act of stopping time.
There is no place more associated with street photography than New York City. So many masters discovered visual treasures in the everyday rhythms of Manhattan streets. Each time I visit, I feel an irresistible pull to head out with my camera and savor ordinary moments as they unfold.
